Sewer Lines
Trenchless technology reaches underground infrastructure without disrupting vehicle or foot traffic — including sewer.
Sewer Lines from 406 Underground
We install sewer lines and laterals by directional boring or trenching, and our hydro-excavation equipment can remove sewage and debris so sewer and storm systems keep moving.
A NorthWestern Energy contractor noted that 406 Underground has even “helped homeowners locate sewer laterals.”
What we do
- Sewer laterals and service lines
- Sewer mains and extensions
- Storm drain lines
- Sewer and storm clean-out (hydro excavation)
- Locating sewer laterals
- Road and driveway crossings
How it works
Locate
Existing laterals and utilities are located and potholed.
Install
Pipe is bored or trenched in on grade.
Clean
Hydro excavation clears debris from existing systems.
Restore
Surfaces are restored.
Why it pays
- Less surface damage than open-cut
- Hydro-vac clean-out in-house
- Careful locating around old laterals
“The crews not only provide accurate bores, but also take responsibility for their actions and clean up after themselves without being asked when leaving a jobsite. Four O Six is also proactive in locating utility crossings… Montana owned and operated, this company has a family touch to it and it shows in their desire to do a good job at a minimal cost.”
— Rob Hanson, PE, Contractor for NorthWestern EnergyQuestions
