Telephone & Copper Cable
406 Underground handles underground telephone and copper communications plant — new placement, replacement and drops.
Telephone / Copper from 406 Underground
Copper telephone cable still serves a lot of rural Montana, and much of it needs replacing or converting to fiber. We place and replace underground telco cable and conduit by boring, plowing and trenching.
Locating crossings first and working cleanly matters even more in older plant, where records are often incomplete.
What we do
- Copper cable placement and replacement
- Telco conduit and pathways
- Service drops
- Pedestals and terminals
- Copper-to-fiber route conversions
- Road and driveway bores

“The crews not only provide accurate bores, but also take responsibility for their actions and clean up after themselves without being asked when leaving a jobsite. Four O Six is also proactive in locating utility crossings… Montana owned and operated, this company has a family touch to it and it shows in their desire to do a good job at a minimal cost.”
